Advantages & Technical features
- Disc close at an angle of 50 Degree against the .vertical axis.
- The
reasonable open limit and cavity space enable the obtain of maximum
area of flow section. The flow resistance is comparably small and the
valve parameter is improved.
- A
sensitive single disc valve with generous body sections with bronze
bushed disc double hang on a stainless steel hinge pin of one piece
shaft construction.
- Removable cover on top of valve body make it easy to replace the door.
- Valves can be supplied with an extended hinge pin and external lever, cast iron counter weight and damping system.
- By pass valves can be fitted if required.
- The
valves are used in horizontal or vertical system with rising flow to
prevent flow reversal suitable for single pump water and sewage
application with low to high lift and multi-pump water application have
low to medium lift.
- Under
conditions of severe reflux, effective non-slam performance is obtained
with branch velocities up to 3m/s . in conditions of less severity,
branch velocities may be increased to 4m/s.
- Lifting lugs are provided for easy lifting, handling and installation at site.
- Wide selection of materials, applicable for various medium.
- Cold applied high solid epoxy resin (350 Microns) coated or Epoxy fusion bonded coated for protection against corrosion.
Inspection & Quality Control
- After
completion of assembly each valve is shop operated three times from the
fully open position to the fully closed position and return to fully
open under no flow condition to demonstrate that the assembly is
working smoothly.
- Each valves
are hydrostatically tested at the place of manufacture to the pressures
specified (Shell test at 1.5 times the working pressure and Seat test
at 1.1 times the working pressure)before they are packed for delivery.
- Inspection of appearance and dimensions after various machining operations.
- Inspection of corrosion protection layers.
